Customer Terms of Service
CentraPoint Group Limited
Company Registration Number: SC870998
Governing Law: Scotland

1. About CentraPoint
CentraPoint Group Limited operates as a multi-trade dispatch and coordination service. We arrange for independent subcontractors (“Engineers”) to attend domestic and commercial properties to carry out repair, inspection, maintenance, and installation work.
CentraPoint does not carry out trade services directly. All work is performed by independent subcontractors. CentraPoint’s role is limited to coordinating attendance and supplying labour services only.

2. Booking & Attendance
Jobs may be requested via phone, website, WhatsApp, or email. CentraPoint will allocate the most suitable Engineer based on trade type, availability, and location.
Attendance times are estimates only and may vary due to traffic conditions, emergency jobs, or operational delays. You must ensure that a responsible adult aged 18 or over is present at the property at the agreed time.

3. Pricing
CentraPoint operates a fixed labour pricing model, published on our website. The first hour of attendance is charged at the stated rate. Additional time is charged in half-hour increments.
For larger, non-standard, or specialist works, a written quotation may be provided before any booking is confirmed.
All labour prices include VAT where applicable.

4. Payment Terms
Payment for labour is required in advance and must be made before an Engineer is dispatched.
Payment is typically taken via a secure payment link or other approved electronic payment method. A booking is not confirmed until payment has been received.
For larger or quoted works, payment terms will be confirmed in writing as part of the quotation.
Payments for parts or materials, where required, are agreed and paid directly between the customer and the attending Engineer. CentraPoint does not collect payment for parts or materials.

5. Cancellations & No Access
You may cancel a booking prior to an Engineer being dispatched.
Where an Engineer has been dispatched, is en route, attends the property, or cannot gain access, the first-hour labour charge will apply.

6. Parts & Materials
CentraPoint provides labour coordination only and does not supply parts or materials.
Where parts or materials are required, these are supplied by the attending Engineer directly to the customer. Any agreement relating to parts — including pricing, warranties, returns, or refunds — is strictly between the customer and the Engineer.
CentraPoint is not a party to the sale or supply of parts and accepts no responsibility for the cost, suitability, or performance of parts supplied by third parties.

7. Customer Responsibilities
Customers must:
-
Provide accurate information about the Job
-
Ensure safe and reasonable access to the property
-
Remove hazards, pets, or obstructions
-
Provide parking or entry access where required
-
Ensure someone is present at the agreed time
Failure to meet these responsibilities may result in a charge for the booked labour time.

8. Limitation of Liability
Engineers are independent subcontractors and are responsible for their own workmanship.
CentraPoint shall not be liable for indirect or consequential losses and accepts no liability for defects, delays, or failures relating to parts or materials supplied by third parties.
CentraPoint’s total liability is limited to the amount paid by the customer for labour only.

9. Warranties
Any workmanship warranties are provided by the attending Engineer in relation to the labour performed.
Manufacturer warranties apply to parts supplied by Engineers or other third parties. CentraPoint does not provide warranties for parts or materials.

12. Data Protection
CentraPoint processes personal data in accordance with UK GDPR. Necessary information may be shared with Engineers to carry out the Job. Further details are available in our Privacy Policy.

13. Termination of Service
CentraPoint reserves the right to refuse service or withdraw an Engineer where:
-
The environment is unsafe

The customer is abusive or threatening
-
Unlawful work is requested
-

14. Force Majeure
CentraPoint shall not be liable for failure or delay caused by events beyond its reasonable control, including severe weather, accidents, supply chain disruption, or other unforeseen circumstances.

15. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of Scotland. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Scottish courts.

16. Entire Agreement
These Terms constitute the entire agreement between the customer and CentraPoint Group Limited and supersede all prior discussions or representations.
